2021 National Cyber Summit
The NCS planning committee has been faced with making difficult decisions as it pertains to the 2021 event. It is our ultimate goal to produce an in-person event. Therefore, we are excited to announce that the Summit will take place on September 28-30, 2021. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions and take necessary action if needed to transition to a hybrid or virtual format.

Workshop on NIST 800-171 Compliance for DoD and Commercial Suppliers
Thursday, June 7, 2018 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
As of December 31, 2017, all companies that process, store or transmit Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) are required to have certain controls in place or risk losing their DoD contracts. The requirement affects members of the supply chain down to raw materials, therefore including manufacturers and suppliers who support DoD work but may not have a direct DoD contract. This session will provide a workshop type environment for small to medium size companies to learn what is required by NIST 800-171 and get started down the path of compliance. The purpose of this session is to help answer the question, "I am concerned about compliance for my company, my suppliers, and my customers. Am I affected, and what do I need to do?"
