Hugh Martin has worked in Information Technology for more than thirty years. After working for a number of financial services companies including AmSouth and Compass for more than a decade, Hugh joined the IT team at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) in 2003. During his time at Honda, Hugh's work has focused on both internal and customer-driven IT infrastructure projects. “Moving from financial services to manufacturing was quite a culture shock. Securing the wide array (and age) of equipment required to keep the production line running requires a lot of coordination and cooperation – and that was before the explosion of cyber threats we now have to contend with. IT is never boring.”
