Margaret Isler, Head of Risk, Google Technical Services

Margaret is the Head of Risk for Google Technical Services (gTech), a global support and operations organization for Google dedicated to developing and managing Google's largest and most strategic partnerships. This organization supports Google’s customers, including advertisers, consumers, partners, publishers, and retailers. In this role, she leads the team that enables Google’s internal businesses while protecting user and business information efficiently and at scale.

Prior to joining Google, Margaret worked as a trusted cyber security and risk advisor to Fortune 500 companies, international government, and US government agencies. In these positions, she gained extensive experience working in large environments with complex and intricate cybersecurity, risk management, regulatory compliance, and policy challenges. Because of her experience in multiple industries across multiple disciplines and geographies, she is able to advise executives on complex security issues so they can make informed business decisions.

Margaret earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland College Park and a Master of Science degree from Johns Hopkins University.
