Keynote Speaker Jon "maddog" Hall
Board Chair, Linux Professional Institute

Foresaw several trends before they happened such as the rise of Unix as an operating system, the use of CD-ROMs for distribution of software, the rise of Linux as a commercial system, need for a private, secure, peer-to-peer, open-source cloud product.
maddog has traveled to over 100 countries, most of them more than once, spoken at thousands of conferences, universities and enterprises about Unix, Linux and Free and Open Source Software.
Developed many business plans for various companies, including several billion dollar lines of business for Silicon Graphics and Digital EquipmentCorporation which (unfortunately) they did not follow.
He currently is the Board Chair for the Linux Professional Institute and the Co-Founder and Chief Adviser for the Caninos Loucos Project (caninosloucos.org)
