ADTRAN is the leading global provider of networking and communications equipment. Our products enable voice, data, video and Internet communications across a variety of network infrastructures. Our solutions are currently in use by service providers, private enterprises, government organizations and millions of individual users worldwide. Nick Thomas with InfoSecSync began the conversation by asking Loy what he talked about today as one of the National Cyber Summit keynote speakers. Loy we as a society are “Giving up Privacy for Convenience” so wonderful had everything is connected to the internet but we fail to change the threats associated with that capability and the connection all the data is connected. “In the IT space alone, we are seeing about 70% of users use applications that are not sanctioned by IT.” The problem we have today is in educating our users. “We must designed with the end user in mind” were we care about the data, “not just about the means, in which they got the data.”
