2021 National Cyber Summit
During these uncertain and unprecedented times, the NCS organization has been faced with a very difficult decision regarding our 2020 Summit. For the safety and well-being of our attendees and exhibitors, as well as preserving the unprecedented networking opportunities NCS provides, we have postponed the 2020 Summit until June 8-10, 2021.

Securing the Cloud for Manufacturing
Wednesday, June 6, 2018 3:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m.
Manufacturing has benefited from the move to enterprise cloud platforms and server virtualization for their computing needs. In the rush to increase productivity and lower costs, however, security is often sacrificed. Commercial virtualization software consistently prioritizes speed and ease-of-use ahead of cyber-security, and cloud service vendors offer better security at a steep price. This presentation describes a number of threat scenarios facing cloud-based manufacturing, outlines their specific risks, and introduces technology solutions to protect private clouds against these potential cyber-attacks.
