Chris DeRusha has extensive experience managing cybersecurity and critical infrastructure programs and operations both in the public and private sectors. Previously, Chris DeRusha served as the Federal Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the U.S. and Deputy National Cyber Director in the White House. In these roles, DeRusha maintained oversight and accountability of federal agency cybersecurity across the federal government.
Before coming back to the federal government, DeRusha served as the Chief Security Officer for the State of Michigan. Prior to that he led Ford Motor Company’s Enterprise Vulnerability Management program, spent five years at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and two years as a senior cyber advisor for the White House.
